Pearl of the Week

Joy is not the same as feeling happy. It’s an interior gift which has to do with our union with Christ crucified. Perfect joy can come even when we are chained in prison, thrown into the snow, or living through a pandemic. Joy is a gift that God longs to give to each one of us. We can ask and pray for that gift in our lives.
