Please join us for our Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.

On Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent, St Peter’s has its traditional Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.  All-you-can eat pancakes along with the trimmings and sausage, and bacon and ham are served at this annual supper.  

March 5 - In the See House - 5:30pm-7pm

What is Shrove Tuesday?

Shrove Tuesday is a day of indulging in the rich, fatty foods that were traditionally abstained from during Lent. Making pancakes was a way to use up butter, milk, sugar and eggs before the 40-day fast.
